About Lailah
I don’t really have any preferred areas/areas of expertise because I am still learning everything!
I have worked in the legal profession since 2020, building my experience in support and paralegal roles before becoming a lawyer in 2025. I completed my Bachelor of Laws (Honours) at QUT in 2024, my Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the College of Law in early-2025 and was admitted to practice in May 2025. My experience in family law has given me a deep appreciation of both the legal and personal complexities that can arise when families are navigating separation.
What I value most about family law is the opportunity to take some of the stress away from people who are already facing significant challenges and uncertainty. The family law system can often feel overwhelming and confusing, particularly at a time when emotions are high. I hope to guide clients through that process with clear advice and a practical mindset, so they feel informed every step of the way.
I would say my approach to family law is practical and collaborative. I understand that family law matters are not just legal problems to be solved, but they involve people’s families, futures, and finances, and require realistic solutions and a practical approach.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two Labradors, travelling, and a good amount of coffee!
